Welcome to another update of Mini Landfills Experiment! I am Devin Rogel and catching you up on March ninth! On that day, we added a third of a cup of water to each because they were still damp.
Here are some pictures of all of them and me mixing the control.
Here's the exciting part- EVEN MORE MOLD!!! Also, I managed to pull a sprout out of a broken nut! Isn't that just crazy? And all of this in the control!
MORE MOLD! OH so much more mold! We also even found a bit of trash in the soil! Such sneaky little trash. It isn't supposed to be in the food scrap bin!
And then here's the trash bin. Even this bin has exciting news- rust on the metal! We noticed that there was no mold even on the roots and leaves, and the soil was dry, so we hypothesized that the trash was sucking up moisture.
