Where Did the Weekend Go?

We went to the Chinese restaurant for supper yesterday to celebrate Valentine's day.  It was a little later than would have been ideal because we went shopping to get Devin some new clothes in the afternoon and needed a little break in between.

Devin doesn't fall asleep in his car seat when we're out much like he used to.  I guess he can take the stimulation now.  In fact, he'd like to go exploring.

 Trying for shots without the Flash.  This is the one where I had my eyes open.

 I took several of the boys.  Accidentally deleted the one I liked best while trying to figure out how to turn down the flash on the camera.  The guys got a little fed up with my clicking, but Liam thought the sparkly lights were cool.

 At least he didn't have to pose for this one.  Who needs a fun house when you have the counter at our favorite Chinese restaurant.

The kids at church made this cross out of coiled magazine pages and wire.  They surprised everyone by presenting it at the end of the service today.

 This weekend was the winter festival in town.  In past years we've gone to some of the activities, but we weren't up for much this year.  Allen's still getting over his cold while Liam started complaining of a sore throat yesterday.  Still, he wanted to see the ice sculptures.  The camera ran out of batteries by the end of church, so we came back after lunch.

 It was pretty cold outside, but Liam was willing to pose beside every single sculpture. 

I wasn't sure what this one outside the hardware store was.  Liam said it was a snow blower.

 He wasn't clear on what Cupid was, but he liked the pose.

I thought this would be too badly back lit, but it turned out to be a nice effect.















After seeming to avoid Allen's cold all week I think I'm getting it now.  I SO need a weekend right now.  Oh wait.  It's over.  Time for the week.
