Curling

Yesterday was the Christmas "Bonspeil" at the BG Curling Club. That means that they got together for a special curling and food time. Allen went and Liam and I dropped in at lunch time. Since we only have one car this involved us taking Allen to the ice arena, going home to get the jacket he forgot and then going back home. Then we went back at lunch time, back home, and then back to pick him up. I was really tired of putting Liam into his carseat by the end, but he wasn't tired of going places. He was still trying to get me to put his hat and outdoor clothes on him in the evening.

Liam had fun socializing with Allen's curling friends. It took him a little while to warm up, but soon he was saying "Hi!" and playing peek-a-boo with anyone who looked his way. He also enjoyed exlporing the room once the players went back to playing, and watching through the windows. He thought we should pull off some loose wallpaper, but I convinced him not to.

Today I got to take a baby-free nap. Liam ended up taking a nap while sitting on Allen's lap. Then he played quietly near Allen while Allen watched football and I zoned out on the computer. He has also been practicing his walking some more.
