We all enjoyed spending time at the river.
Allen and Liam worked on building dams.
Devin was mostly interested in "rocks." Sometimes it was actually stones, but who's counting?
Allen and Liam went to see a parade that Rob played in with a marching band.
This is not the marching band Rob played in.
We also went to see Rob play in another community band.
The boys mostly ran around.
They made a few new friends.
And played with bubbles.
The bandstand.
A rousing game of.... ....whatever that is with velcro covered catchy things and tennis balls. Devin had a meltdown or two because he couldn't control all the balls all the time, but Liam had tons of fun.
Just walking down the road.
After all our trips to the river Devin was convinced there was water lurking behind every line of trees. He would stand like this and say, "See the water?" It didn't help that the wind in the trees sounded like water.
He really did love the rocks and occasionally needed to find out what they tasted like.
Liam kept up pretty well with his progress on the summer reading program.
We went to another concert where the boys were mostly interested in playing. I swear, I had more than one shirt with me on this vacation, but most of the pictures show this one.
"Harp Twins." They play contemporary songs together on harps.
Trying to take a picture with my phone while Allen took a picture with the camera. Classic.
The last day we were there a storm hit that dumped hail. It was a pretty dramatic view.
