Christmas Decorations

We finished getting our Christmas decorations up last night.  Liam and I started on Friday.  It was a stretch for me to get things set up and get the stuff down on my own (with a cranky baby and a "helpful" five-year-old) but I figured we would need more than one session and with play practices this weekend we've been pretty busy.  We put up our usual ornaments including the tree Mom and Dad had shipped back from the Philippines.  It's the one our family used all seventeen years we were there.

Liam had his first dress rehearsal for the play tonight.  The baby angels poked each other with their wings and Liam got elbowed in the face while changing out of his costume, but in general the show ran very well.  It's a really cute play and Liam's having a blast.  It's probably a good thing I don't have a crystal ball because if could have seen my current exhausted self when we took him to audition I don't know if I would have had the courage to make the commitment.  Allen's really having to grind through also because the flu has left him pretty wiped out.  I'm trying not to think too much about how we'll manage to get our Christmas shopping done!
