We got a bouncy seat for Devin from Isaac and Cindy. The exersaucer was good, but I felt like he needed to be able to jump more since that's something he really loves to do. Allen put it together yesterday. When we put Devin in it it made a couple of snapping noises and I said, "Is it supposed to make that noise?" I don't think Allen appreciated that too much. It was fine. Devin seems to really love it. I got a cute video with both the boys jumping, but I haven't had good luck loading videos here in the past. Here are a few pictures.
Oh my goodness! Can you believe what I have to put up with?
Bounced his sock right off. He didn't know what to do at first, but got the hang of it pretty fast. Plus, we can attach some of his favorite toys from the play mat. He really seems much more interested in toys than Liam was at a similar age.
I've been trying and trying to get a picture focused like this and when I do - tag. His face is even super cute (don't you think?).
Thanks Uncle Isaac and Aunt Cindy! I love it! And look, you can see my tooth.
We got a little better sleep last night which helped my perspective today. Also had a nice visit with the pastor at our favorite fast food joint after church. Later I was getting ready to feed Devin and got a jar of prune baby food out of the fridge. I grabbed it by the lid, which wasn't screwed on. It dropped, launching prune baby food in a path across the kitchen floor, into the laundry room, across some clean laundry and the washer, up the washer and behind it. Also onto the laundry room ceiling. I called Allen to please come help me clean up. He was so impressed he tried to get pictures, but that didn't really tell the story, so he made a video. Gotta remember, right?
