What? No nap?!?

Yes, it's true. Yesterday Liam did not take a nap. I tried twice to get him to go to sleep, but all the usual tricks failed. Thankfully he played happily by himself for much of the day, or I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have made it 'til Allen got home on my own.

While he was playing by himself Liam found all the little plastic animals mixed in with the rest of his toys (essentially flat pieces of plastic with stickers on them with pictures of animals.) He was very intent on stacking these up and moving them around. Today he's doing the same thing with his library books.


This morning I had a nice break when Mary and her friend took Liam to the park. They walked there with Liam in the stroller. The report is that he enjoyed the sand, swings and the red bouncy car. But he had to stop playing in the mulch because he decided to see what it tasted like. I spent some time focusing on relaxing my muscles and then took a nap.
